The gravesite of Grand Vizier Talat Pasha, who was convicted in absentia by a special martial court over (inter alia) the Armenian massacres and was assassinated in Berlin during operation nemesis (leading to the Thelerian trial). His body was returned by Nazi Germany.The tomb of War Minister Enver Pasha who was also convicted in absentia. Both men are heralded at the National Liberty Monument, which is next to the Justice Palace.
